GAH!!! I am so excited to share this Wedding with you. You as in all of you, but also, specifically, you.
Chris was getting ready in the gorgeous Hotel DuPont, and Ashleigh headed back to Pennsylvania to shoot prep for Mary in Atglen. During Prep, Mary had gotten super awesome mustache flasks for all of the groomsmen, as well as little notes, and her best attempt at what was available in mini-sizes of their favorite alcohol. She also gave Chris cuff links with dimes on them from the year 1952, which was the birth year of his father, Tony, who had passed away. The suspenders also sported mustaches all over, in honor of Tony.
The Ceremony was in an amazing little chapel in the rolling back hills of Pennsylvania. Seriously so cute and immaculate.
Then back to the Hotel DuPont in Delaware where we were taken in probably the grandest grand ballroom we have ever shot in. We learned that Mary’s father is a seriously amazing dancer (their first dance was to opera, and was probably the best Father-Daughter dance to date). We also learned from Chris that each piece of the Wedding was pretty much handpicked by Mary herself over the course of planning. And at the close of the night, Chris surprised Mary with Irish dancers that came into the ballroom.
We were so blessed to be a part of their amazing day together, and we can’t wait to hopefully see them again in the future! I’m now going to watch this again, because I just love it.
